69 degrees in my town, that is just fucking awesome. Today is my mom's birthday (yay go Mom!) and my dad has been off of cigarettes for over a week! I am so proud of him. I'm going to enjoy my day off, and try to find a W-2 I need *rolls her eyes*. Anyways, have a pleasant day folks!

My dad was released from the hospital yesterday morning (yay), wasn't h1n1 related in regards to the pneumonia(yay), and after he is done with his medicine this week, he should be healed (yay). Hehe, now to go to work!

My dad will be in the hospital one more night and might be out tomorrow. He had a fever come back last night, not a major one, but enough to where the doctor didn't feel comfortable letting him out just yet. He is off the ivs and oxygen, pain is gone, and now he's just gotta wait to see what tonight brings. No fevers=he gets to go home with some medication. Him, mom, and I sat around alot watching NCIS. He is still in isolation but due to test results have not come back yet. Anyways, that is all.

This morning I got a call from my mom "Dad is in the hospital" and I start crying. Well, short story: Went to ER last night and was diagnosed&admitted into the hospital at 2 a.m. due to pneumonia. His temp had gone up to 104 last night and today at noon, it was down to 98.3. He is on respiratory therapy, ivs of fluid and antibiotics, and on oxygen to keep the oxygen levels good during this. Tests were done to make sure this isn't from anything h1n1 related, since a couple weeks ago he got sick with something like the flu for a few days and as long as he doesn't have a fever, and his tests come back normal, he may be out of the hospital as soon as tomorrow. I am so relieved he is going to be alright, but still a scary call to get anytime it's someone you know, but to be about your parent....*shakes her head* I never felt so scared....The only reason why they didn't call me last night to tell me about him being admitted was, my parents didn't want me to worry...I love them both so much.

I am drained, hungry, and going to try to relax. Dad was in good spirits, even cracking jokes as he made fun of mom and I for having to wear masks since he is in isolation. We watched discovery channel and I bought him suduko puzzles-n-pencils to help pass the time. I'll probably see him tomorrow, I'm going to sign off from here now.

Been awhile since I posted like a real journal so I will talk about my day. Went to bed around 5 a.m. due to caffeine, movies, and music. I treated myself to just relax since today is my day off. Woke up at 9, went back to bed, woke up again at 10:10. Enjoyed a lean cuisine dish, was catching up on emails, random web browsing and chatting. Then I get a phone call from work, which is good due to, I need the hours. But my body was like, wtf, I wanna sleep more but I still went to work. Where it was dead all day; except for the dumbasses we have been getting for customers lately (I shit you not customer 1345677; that piece of cheese I gave you as a sample that you just saw me tear off from the pile you looked at is fucking seriously the cheese you were looking at and watching the entire fucking time. Oh and customer 890872; for the seventh time, genoa salami is made with wine, hard isn't, that is what makes them different).....Well I get off from work and this is where I am running into a problem. I feel like I am going stir-crazy and I feel lonely. I know things are going to get better, but I wish I was more interesting. Not many people see the musical side of me, maybe I hold back too much on positive things and people see just negative/quiet/anxious Dana? I will work on this, but I think I need some dinner, maybe a nap, and just chill. What do you think? Have a good one folks.
